Chestnut Barn is a recently converted barn conversion which provides spacious self catering accommodation for groups and families.
Chestnut Barn is located in Aldborough, a picturesque village with a pub, post office, shop, village green with cricket played in the summer and many footpaths including the Weavers Way. It is quiet and peaceful.
Chestnut Barn is very close to many beaches including Sheringham, Cromer, Mundesley, Overstrand, Blakeney and Cley and National Trust properties including Blicking Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park. It is also close to Norwich where there is a great nightlife. There are lots of bistro pubs close to Chestnut Barn including the Gunton Arms and The Walpole. Both have function rooms.
There are lots of activities close by including surfing lessons at Cromer, horse riding, boating on the Broads, spas, cookery schools. We are happy to provide lots of ideas, local knowledge and recommendations!
The accommodation is very flexible and includes: a spacious entrance room; a large open plan dining, seating and kitchen area; two large double bedrooms on the ground floor, one with an ensuite bathroom and the other with an ensuite shower room; a separate shower room. There are two separate upstairs areas: one has a large double bedroom with an ensuite shower room and the second has a mezzanine with four single beds.
The barn sleeps 10 comfortably. Blow up beds can also be provided for additional guests. The barn is child friendly with a cot, travel cot, stair gates, high chairs and children's games provided.
Outside there is a large patio area with outdoor seating. The garden is fully enclosed. There is a large parking area suitable for many vehicles. There is a garage with table tennis and table football.
