High Cloud is that little bit special.
The lofty sanctuary of the explorer Christina Dodwell, this spacious hilltop property is redolent with her adventures. Maps, books, pictures and artefacts from her travels are everywhere.
High Cloud looks out over the stunning landscape of the Welsh marches. Dine on the terrace and gaze at the magnificent ruins of Raglan Castle, watch the sun set over Mynydd Pen-y-Fal, Abergavennyís own Sugarloaf Mountain. Set in its own extensive grounds, the property is the perfect private, rural retreat.
For those wishing simply to relax, High Cloud offers plenty of entertainment on site; including a hot tub, an outdoor heated swimming pool (summer only), croquet lawn and games room with table tennis, table football and pool. Take a stroll through the woods and along a waterfall strewn stream. If you are feeling more energetic there is a grassy running track around the farmís perimeter.
High Cloud is also ideal for those wishing to make the most of the myriad sporting opportunities in the Forest of Dean or the Brecon Beacons.
