The living space is a fabulous open plan kitchen / dining / sitting area. Its high vaulted ceiling reminiscent of the grandeur of medieval halls of old, but the style is light, bright and relaxed with plenty of C21st comfort. Think ‘country chic’ furnishings, stone floors, thick wooden beams and high quality appliances. There is toasty underfloor heating throughout the property. All the bedrooms are ensuite and all have TVs.
The Wagon Shed annex is perfect for guests who need a little more privacy or use a wheelchair. It is connected to the barn by a smooth ramped pathway. The annex has its own lovely open plan dining/sitting/kitchen area and a garden room opening out onto a terrace. The large bathroom has wet room facilities.
There is plenty of outside space with an acre of grounds to explore. You will find a solid fuel barbeque and garden furniture for alfresco suppers. There is also a lockable cycle store and plenty of parking.
Green hens will approve of the eco credentials - energy is supplied via ground source heat pumps, pv and solar panel and heat recovery. There is also a rainwater harvesting tank.
Hunker down, relax and enjoy the barn and its superb facilities - you can complete the luxurious spa experience and arrange for a visit from a mobile therapist/ beautician. Our brilliant games room with with pool table, table tennis, dart board large TV is just perfect for tournament nights. If you are feeling peckish - just pop onto the mini-kitchen/bar - no need to trek to the barn kitchen.
Catering wise - if cooking seems too much hassle, we can suggest some fantastic local caterers. If you enjoy whipping up a feast then our kitchen is a dream to cook in and Tesco will deliver to the door. The local pub is also just ˝ a mile down the road and the cafes, restaurants and pubs of the lovely market town of Caistor are just 6 miles away. Foodies will love the riverside town of Louth (12 miles), popular for its bakers, award winning butchers and independent shops.
If you are looking more than relaxation, why not try something a little different? Opt for a woodcraft day in our Thorganby woodlands - our local Bushcraft company provide a range of action packed, adventurous, ‘hands on’ experiences. Arrange for a craft party, a dancing lesson or even a cocktail masterclass! There are many companies that will visit the Barn with ideas to make your celebration truly special.

The ancient city of Lincoln with its cathedral, castle and vibrant waterfront is just 28 miles away and if you fancy a day at the races, head to the famous race course at Market Rasen.
The stunning Lincolshire coast is within easy reach of Thorganby. The popular resorts of Skegness, Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes provide award winning beaches and seafront entertainment. But if you are looking for rural beaches, wildlife and quiet stark beauty, head for Gibralter Point, Saltfleetby, Crook Bank, and Moggs Eye. Wild seals can be seen on the beaches in November and December.
"A Hen weekend for Sarah who gets married on 2nd February. Sarah was joined by friends and family (sisters and mother, mother-in-law to be). We were all totally blown away by this place, no-one has ever stayed anywhere so amazing. 5-Star doesn't cover it! There were 14 of us - the space was amazing - had the best Saturday night dinner with us all around the fabulous table. I can't think of anything that was wrong or missing. Would love a family Christmas here. All in all a perfect weekend!!!" January 2013.
