Just a 5 minute saunter from the beach and Weymouth town centre Number 6 is a delightful 1920s town house with plenty of character.

Its great central location means that its a breeze to get to the beach and the towns bustling bars and cafes. With 3 miles of golden sands there is plenty of entertainment of the traditional bucket and spade variety you have the Jurassic coast on your doorstep! There are also plenty of opportunities for water sports, as you might imagine - this is the town that was host to the sailing in the London 2012 Olympics after all! Locally there is access to diving, snorkelling, deep sea fishing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking or just pottering around on a pedalo. Of course there are plenty of on-land activities as well you can find tennis, cycling paragliding, hiking and golf nearby.

If you just want to relax, laze on the beach, book a session or two in the local day spa, or, if you have a head for heights, take a Champagne Experience in The Jurassic Skyline viewing tower which takes you 174ft above the town and boasts unparalleled panoramic views.

Number 6 has been recently refurbished and provides spacious accommodation for 12. The atmosphere is relaxed and homely and there are some lovely original features.

A great modern kitchen makes catering a doddle but the owner offers the opportunity to order some delicious prepared meals which you can just pop into the oven after a busy day on the beach! Request the menu when booking.

The lounge has plenty of comfy seating and a TV and DVD player. The dining room has seating for 10 and has French windows that open out into a lovely, well-stocked garden. The decking area is a great place for sunny morning breakfasts or summer evening meals.

There are 5 bedrooms: The master bedroom has an extra large double bed and an ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is also ensuite and has a double bed. Bedroom 3 & 4 both have double beds. Bedroom 4 is on the ground floor and the zip link king size bed can be made into 2 singles if preferred. The 5th bedroom is a bunk room with bunk beds and twin beds.
