Its a walkers and cyclist paradise with a network of footpaths, bridle ways and trails right on its doorstep. The pretty village of Parwich with its stone cottages and duck pond is just under 2 miles away. The famous village of Tissington with its Jacobean hall, and lovely Tea Rooms is a short five minute drive. Uppermoor Farm is secluded yet easily accessible to all the major attractions the Peak District has to offer and sits in the golden triangle equi-distance from the historic market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton which are all approx 15 minute drive away.
The beautiful Farmhouse and Annexe sleeps 20 and is spacious and luxuriously appointed, with a galleried dining area looking across the sitting room towards the log burning stove and has ample seating for 20 guests on two antique dining tables. The kitchen features an oil fired Aga and a two oven range cooker together with being fully equipped with everything you might need to cater for a large group.. Indulge yourselves sleep in Four-Poster beds, with 9 individually styled bedrooms and 8 luxury en suite facilities. The Annexe has its own smaller sitting room with a log burner, giving a cosy country feel, and an ideal place for 'a quiet corner' for anyone wishing to sneak away from the main crowd. It has the convenience of its own well equipped kitchen too to assist with the catering as and when needed.
If your numbers increase or are larger than 20 you can add the 2 bedroomed Coach Coach to your booking and sleep a further 4 people. The Coach House nestles in the same pretty courtyard setting as the main Farmhouse & Annexe.
Outside has a choice of sheltered rear terraces and flagstone paved patio areas to chill-out on comfortable garden furniture and barbecues; whilst enjoying the stunning, far-reaching views of the surrounding Peak District countryside.
The whole property is set amidst 70 acres of beautiful rolling Derbyshire Dales with its own famous dry stone walling giving a lattice effect across the vista ~ simply stunning.
There is ample car parking facilities with a large secure tarmac car park area with dawn to dusk lighting.
