Applegarth is a magnificent Victorian house with beautiful gardens and fantastic views of the Lake District mountains. Situated in the popular village of Braithwaite there are hundreds of walks straight from its front door.
The retains many original features and comfortably sleeps 12 people, with an extra sofa bed available to accommodate a couple more. It is perfect for a hen party, with its spacious rooms and proximity to the popular market towns of Keswick and Cockermouth.
The dining room is large and comfortably sits 12 people around the table (you can squeeze 14 in for those larger groups). The kitchen is well equipped and has a Range Cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and plenty of storage.
From the kitchen is the utility room with fridge freezer, tumble drier, microwave, a further undercounter fridge and a separate WC with wash handbasin.
The master bedroom on the first floor has stunning views towards the fells of Latrigg and Skiddaw. On this floor there is also a super king (that can be made into twins), a bunk room with adult bunk beds, a bathroom with large bath and shower and a separate WC next door.
The second floor has an en suite double bedroom, again with stunning views, a second double room, and a twin room. These two rooms share a shower room with enclosure, WC and wash basin. Just off the landing is a second sitting room/games room with a sofa-bed, TV, DVD player, table football, Nintendo Wii and board games. This can be used as an additional bedroom with prior permission to allow the house to sleep 14.
The large back garden has fabulous views of Causey Pike, Stile End and Barrow.
There is plenty of parking available at the property.
