Villages within the area are mainly unspoilt each having its own individual charm and character. Only a few miles north is the City of Bristol, the west country’s financial business centre whilst the charming City of Bath with its Roman origins and Georgian architectural masterpieces are within 40 minutes drive to the east. Both of which are very popular for hen party hens to enjoy an evening out. On the southern side of the Mendips is the historic City of Wells, England’s smallest, with its ancient cathedral. Local attractions include Cheddar George, Glastonbury, Bristol Balloon Fiesta and Bath Christmas market. Our leaflets and Guidebook lists many local pubs, attractions and activities.
The region is well served by excellent rail links, the nearest being Nailsea & Backwell Rail Station 5.2 miles away. The M5 and M4 motorways are also easily accessed and Bristol International Airport is some 4 miles to the north.
