Welcome to our fabulous Gold and Silver award 5 star country cottage located in 10 acres of peaceful private gardens and pastureland with lovely panoramic views. Just 1.5 miles from the pretty market town of Ashbourne and a short drive to Bakewell, Matlock and Buxton. An ideal base for walking and exploring the many beautiful dales. Billys Bothy sleeps 10 plus 4 within 5 bedrooms and has an option of a 6th bedroom giving sleeping capacity for 16. All of our bedrooms are en suite. On the ground floor are 2 double and 1 twin bedrooms, also the optional twin room. The 1st floor is cut into the bank giving it a ground floor platform from the lounge onto the patio and orchard area. On this level are two more double en suite bedrooms. Our beautiful, and well equipped galleried kitchen is a delight and leads into a separate dining room for those special meals with friends then onwards into the large lounge area with a feature glass gable end overlooking the gardens and orchard. Beams, revealed brick walls, oak and stone floors and a cosy wood burning stove for those winter months add ambience to this lovely cottage. All bedrooms have character brass and cast iron beds and are furnished to a high standard. Full central heating, electricity, towels, linen are all included. We offer meals and pampering for those of you wanting to relax and unwind. We have a sauna on site in which you have the option to relax. All bedrooms have LCD TV,s and Wi Fi. For those of you wanting adventure, within 5 miles you can experience pony trekking, archery, karting, clay pigeon shooting, walking, canoeing, cycling and paint balling activities or visit some of the many attractions in the area including Chatsworth House and Alton Towers.
