It is perfect for parties, reunions and family get-togethers and is conveniently located for local attractions and entertainment. It is next to the village pub, which is quiet and cosy and opposite the church whose bells can be heard from the house. The accommodation is extremely spacious and tastefully furnished with plenty of room for guests to relax in the sitting room which has a flat screen TV, or the peaceful drawing room which backs on to a private courtyard garden with a barbeque area and garden furniture. The house has many original features such as shutters, marble and slate fireplaces, exposed floorboards, and slate and quarry tiled floors.. Cooking for large numbers is simple in the traditional, well-equipped farmhouse kitchen and attached pantry area is. There is a large dresser and cupboards well stocked with equipment. The kitchen has an Aga, huge farmhouse table and the pantry provides a space ideal for food preparation and has an electric oven and hob as well as a a huge fridge freezer and food preparation trolley. The five large double bedrooms spread over two floors are simple but tastefully decorated and have fresh cotton linen, exposed floorboards, fireplaces and rugs. The bathrooms are modern but Victorian in style both have showers and there is a separate cloakroom on both ground and first floors. On the second floor there is also a games room with a pool table and a well-stocked games cupboard in the sitting room.
