Bannerrigg is a luxury 4-star house ideal for an up-market hen do! Located in Windermere, Cumbria, Bannerrigg is part of a group of houses simply known as The Terrace Windermere. Most weekends see our 3 houses on The Terrace full of people celebrating something. And more often than not there's a 'girlie' weekend of some description amongst them. Windermere village has all a girl needs, independent wine stores, cake shops and of-course the necessary restaurants and bars. But with all that excess you'll be glad to know there are a number of places to be pampered too! Being situated at the heat of the National Park, Bannerrigg is a great base for anything 'outdoorsy' from scrambling up a mountain to strolling by a river. But it's not just that that you 'girls' come for it's the hospitality, good food and good company. Magaluf this is not! Bannerrigg has the largest rooms of all our properties. The dining table sits up to 22 and is a situated in a grand room in which to entertain with untold stories of the bride. The lounge has an imposing open fire with scrumptious leather seating for 16 people, a flat screen TV and playstation2 - don't forget that Singstar! The kitchen is the hub of this house, kept warm by an AGA, it's the place where confessions of the night before can be heard over a coffee. Dress code for breakfast: Pyjamas mandatory. There are 5 bedrooms with a total of 10 individual beds. The house has 3 bathrooms (and a downstairs toilet) including an ensuite for the girl of the moment! Perhaps the best hen-highlight of this house is the 8-seat hot tub, which is situated in its own building in the garden. A little time in the tub has got to be the perfect end to a day on the hills and the perfect start to a night with your mates! In the words of Shania Twain - "Let's go girls!" Bannerrigg is available for 3 night weekends from Friday 4pm until Monday 10am throughout the year (except school holidays). PRICE INFORMATION
