Property Details for The Dairy House
The Dairy House Hen and All Lady Parties
We warmly welcome Hen and All Lady Parties and have had many who have had a great stay with us before, (please see Trip Advisor for over 100 positive reviews). We can comfortably accommodate 16 ladies in superior quality 5ft king double or single beds plus additional guests if required, all with crisp white linen and fresh white towels. If requested we can help with caterers, butlers, bartenders, balloons, celebration cakes etc, and will do our upmost to help make the most of your stay.
Locally we are blessed with the wonderful Gunwharf Quays, a super cosmopolitian area, where you can shop in the 90 odd designer outlets and then return if wished to spend the night in one or more of the 30 bars/cafes/restaurants, including Bar 38, Bar Risa, The Old Customs House, Cafe Rouge, Jamie Olivers Italian, Loch Fyne, Raymond Blancs, Strada, Wagamama, Las Iguanas, plus a 14 screen Vue Cinema, 26 lane Bowlplex Bowling Alley, The Grosvenor Casino, Jongleurs Comedy Club and Tiger Tiger Nightclub, with a late night ferry that brings you safely back to Gosport.
Alternatively we have great local out or indoor activities and we even have a local fitness organisation who have hired the house on a number of occasions to bring along groups of ladies to 'loose a dress size' during a fitness weekend who are also available for hire for personal or group sessions.
We have a lot of good contacts in the area and can help you organise your stay if requested from horse riding to just plain horsing around. If you would like we can help with :-
Balloons to decorate the property prior to your arrival
Private chefs for your diner party
Outside caterers and hog roast specialists
Butlers to wait on you in little more than a pinny if you wish then help clear up
Bartenders to serve your drinks or provide that special cocktail party
Chocolate fountains for everything chocolatey
Celebration cakes, speciality and cute cup cakes
Pamper parties tailored to your requirements
We can also point you in the direction of local activities such as :-
Sailing, powerboat trips, rib rides or hiring a gin palace
Ice skating rink within a 5 minute drive
Indoor go karting track within a 10 minute drive
Horse riding within an approximate 15 minute drive
Clay pigeon shooting within a 30 minute drive
Fitness sessions with male or female instructors
Harbour, Isle of Wight or River Hamble boat tours
We must point out however that we are located within a town and do have neighbours whom we need to consider. If you feel that your celebrations would be better outside within the garden and feel you may be fairly noisy you may wish to consider something more rural, without neighbours, because if we do receive complaints from neighbours over excessive noise etc and have to attend the property there is unfortunately a £100 call out which will need to be be deducted from the deposit.
The other thing we also ask ladies to be aware of is with all the lovely white linen and towels we recommend that if you intend to fake tan whilst at the property you are advised to bring along your own towel for that purpose as neat fake tanning solution will not easily come out out white towelling and will need to be charged as an extra if this happens.
Feedback from some of The Dairy House all lady guests :-
"The Dairy House was just fabulous and beautifully furnished. The owner was fabulous too! He quickly delivered a working corkscrew when the one there seemed to baffle us :-/ The rooms were all lovely and everyone loved the space. The Wii was wonderful. Towels were lovely and big. Hairdryers would have been helpful. Loved the big supply of plates, bowls and glasses and the furnishings were all lovely. " (Maggie Bruce) (New hairdryers now in place)
"The Dairy House was decorated more like a boutique hotel than a holiday rental, with lovely bedding, towels laid out for our arrival and even the dining room table set. The kitchen was really well equipped, there was an unexpected "welcome pack" of essentials and the numerous bathrooms meant there was never any waiting for a shower - even with 15 girls wanting to glam up on Saturday night. We had great fun in the games rooms; the Wii dance being a particular hit. The only tiny, tiny thing was that there's no cafetiere or equivalent in the house (or we didn't find it) - which was no problem as I did actually bring one - I'm not very good without a cup of coffee in the morning. For such an amazingly well equipped house this was the only thing that wasn't there that we could possibly have wanted." (Emma Keane) (Cafetiere now in place)
"I just wanted to say that my friends and I had a wonderful time at the Dairy House - the house itself is beautifully decorated with lovely bedding and surroundings, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment facilities in the house as well, especially the pool/ping pong table. There were also a few competitive souls playing Mario Kart and Just Dance a lot of the time! It really was one of the best equipped, most attractively decorated houses I have ever stayed in, and whilst at first it seemed that being surrounded by neighbours might be a problem, it really wasn't as they are far enough away to not cause a bother to us and apparently not us to them either. Myself and everyone else who came agreed that it was an absolutely brilliant weekend in a fabulous house - I actually got a lot of compliments on my good choice of property! So thank you again, and please pass my thanks on to Ken as well, who gave a very thorough tour of the property on arrival. Oh, and the hamper that was provided was a lovely touch as well. " (Amy Catlin)
"The house was absolutely gorgeous!! I was totally over whelmed with it! I couldn't fault it in anyway!!" (Dawn Stamp)
