Situated in an are of outstanding natural beauty you will find the Coach House the. Dating back to 1852 the property has been sympathetically converted retaining many of its original features. You will find it comfortable, bright and airy and very homely. We have had many happy brides and hen parties over the last 8 years.
located in the East Sussex village of Burwash which has been made famous by Rudyard Kipling, the Coach House is nestled in a delightful rural spot which benefits from lovely views over the surrounding Sussex countryside, yet is still within a 5 minute walk of the village for pubs, butchers, post office and a general store.

The accommodation consists of

Ground floor kitchen with range cooker, tiled floor, fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Additionally there is a seating area for chatting whilst cooking and steps leading into enclosed garden.

The living room has a cosy feel with a wood burning stove, oak flooring,Here you will find a television, separate dvd player, also a library of films, books and family games to keep everybody entertained.

The Dining Room has oak flooring and an oak dining table and chairs that seats 12/14 guests. There is a separate cloakroom next to the dining room. Also on the ground floor you will find three double bedrooms all have wooden flooring and french doors leading outside to the enclosed garden. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite shower room and the others share a family bathroom with roll top bath which is also located on this floor,

At the top of the oak staircase are two further bedrooms. Each has three single beds and there is a further family bathroom with bath and separate shower. The private garden is accessed from the kitchen and ground floor bedrooms, and a path around the property.

Outside you will find a beautiful oak table with benches which overlook the SWIMMING POOL open mid may - mid september (shared with owner) . There is also a games room located in the garage, AND a an equipped outdoor play area for children .Stroll in the ten acre field shared with the horses.

If you are wanting a bit of culture there are many local National Trust properties and beautiful gardens to visit such as Chartwell, Batemans, Lewes Castle, Nymans, Wakehurst Place and Sheffied Park.

For a action packed girls day out Bewl Water is nearby for sailing, scuba diving, team building pursuits, river rafting, 4x4 off roading, and paintballin. In addition to this there is plenty of horseriding nearby and many golf courses to choose from including the East Sussex National all within 25 minutes. F0r a more relaxed stay, consider a pampering experience
Knowle Grange is close by and can provide you with the perfect pamper day or a soothing day of swimming and massage. Can sleep an additional 2 on Z BEDS this must be arranged at time of booking. Please note that the lounge however will not seat 14, but there is an additional sofa area) The dining table does seat 14
