Located within the Peak District National Park these two delightful self catering holiday cottages are located just 12 miles west of Sheffield on the outskirts of the pretty village of Hope. An ideal location for your Hen or Stag party with plenty to do in the surrounding area.

The two stone built properties are to be found next to an 18th C farmhouse and benefit from wonderful views over the Hope Valley and across to Castleton with its popular caves and historic castle.

There is an indoor heated swimming pool next door to the main house and this is available from the end of March through to the end of October.

Both cottages are cosy and comfortable and have been finished to a very high standard. They are both centrally heated and all bed linen and towels are provided. Included in each cottage is a fridge/freezer, free satellite TV, a video and DVD players plus a microwave and electric cooker. There is a shared utility room with a washing machine, tumble drier and additional freezer space. This room can also be used as a storage area for boots and wellingtons.

This is a great area for walking and sightseeing with plenty to do nearby including visits to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton Spa and the Blue John Caves in Castleton.

The cottages can be let individually or taken together. They are joined by an interconnecting door on the top floor which can be opened to link the two together to sleep 16 guests in 8 bedrooms.

Both Ash and Birch cottages have the same layout.

The ground floor has a kitchen area, a small open plan living room and a dining area for 8 people. On the first floor is one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a bathroom with a wc, hand basin and bath with shower over. There is another double bedroom and a twin bedroom with an airing cupboard on the second floor.

There is a large decking area to the rear of each property which leads onto a lawn.

We particularly welcome Hen and Stag parties.

High chairs and travel cots and are available on request.

Nearby attractions include: Chatsworth House, Eyam Hall, Ladybower Reservoir, Hathersage and Hathersage Moor.

For your Hen Party we can also offer massage, spa and beauty therapies through local practitioners who will visit the cottages at your request.

A celebratory evening meal can be arranged in the comfort of your cottage.
