Hartland House Spa and cottages offers award winning 5* luxury self-catering accommodation with indoor pool, Jacuzzi, gym, beauty treatments and other spa facilities. We are located approximately a mile from the sea in the Hartland Peninsula in North Devon - an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We welcome you to this unspoilt location in Devon where you can relax and unwind away from the stresses of city living.

The main farmhouse sleeps up to 10 people and can be opened up with the cottage next door to sleep a total of 16 people making it the perfect venue for larger groups. We also have a further 10 cottages.

This lovely, spacious medieval farmhouse dates from the 12th century, and is comfortably and tastefully furnished. The entrance hall leads into a beautiful flagstoned dining room with low beamed ceilings and display inglenook fireplace, ideal for family or group meals. The living room is also beamed and features a wood burning stove, perfect for cozy winter nights. The kitchen is fitted in Smallbone antique pine with a large electric Range style cooker. The bedrooms are spacious, with one downstairs single bedroom with optional pull out guestbed. There are two staircases leading to further accommodation, one traditional and one Victorian spiral. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom. Next door is the family shower room with a large double shower and a landing area leading into a charming beamed twin-bedded room. At the far end of the house the spiral staircase takes you into a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. There is a further twin-bedded room close to the double bedroom. You will also find a downstairs shower room with hand basin, toilet and shower.

If you require accommodation for a larger group, the farmhouse can be opened up with the next door 'Peter Rabbit cottage' by unlocking an internal door. Peter Rabbit adds yet more space to the large farmhouse. It is a very spacious and interesting three bedroomed property arranged over several levels. The entrance hallway leads into a light and airy south-facing lounge with French windows to the outside garden area. A log burner is situated in the old inglenook fireplace, perfect for cozy winter nights. A double bedroom and shower room are also situated on the ground floor with a staircase to another double bedroom on the first floor. You will also find a family bathroom, a well fitted kitchen with oak units and a dining room with views across the surrounding countryside and a twin bedded room.

Take in the wonderful views across the rolling countryside to the sea, enjoy the magical sunsets and look at the stars in an unpolluted night sky. There are a variety of beaches nearby from small, intimate coves to larger sandy beaches within a short drive to suit all tastes; Hartland Quay, Sandymouth, Instow and Westward Ho to name a few.
