Orrest House is a big country house in big grounds in Windermere Village. Dating back to 1672 the house is full of Lake District character with a modern twist. Contemporary furnishings and wall-coverings offset thoughtfully again historic features. Available to rent with Orrest Head Cottage a small annex in the garden the combination can accommodate up to 17 people.

Orrest Head House has been completely refurbished. On the ground floor there's a cool fling grey kitchen with every appliance you'll need to cook up a banquet, 7 ring, twin fan oven range cooker, two large fridge freezers one for food one for beer! Plus a separate wine cooler. All set around a central island unit this really is a gastronomes delight. Next door there's a TV snug for a smaller group (or to keep the kids happy while you cook). The dining room seats 18 around a square table a really social spot. The lounge has been geared up for big groups. Dominated by 3 huge leather Chesterfields it is the place to chillax. The room also has patio doors which open out onto a sun Terrace.

Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms all with contemporary ensuites. Bedroom 1 has a supoer-king-size bed in the ensuite there's a Victorian style bath over looking the rear garden. Bedrooms 2 and 3 arr both king-size and both have beautiful baths overlooking the garden a real treat. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are triples, with beds that can be pushed together.

Outside there's enough parking for at least 10 cars, a terraced sun patio with furniture and barbecue all set in 2 acres of private grounds (shared with Orrest Cottage).
